Double story boat houses.

I know I said we were going to Bilbao but I forgot about Hondarribia, a cute little town on the French border. The main attraction, as usual, is the Old Town and church but the harbour and walks over the headland are also recommended. So we decided to visit the harbour first and get in some early exercise on the headland.

Totally fed up with depending on busses, we decided to take the motorhome which worked out very well until we tried to park it within walking distance of the Old Town. Apparently the city has some serious regulations about motor homes in the city but we finally found a little out of the way alley where we could hide the van. It worked. It was still there when we got back.

Again, as we are getting used to, busy and narrow streets with beautifully decorated and looked after houses, decorative iron work and great window boxes.
