Lake du Bourget looked like a really pretty place to have a few down days and relax a bit. Again it was a trip through the Pyrenees where we just run out of superlatives.

Fruit and veg farm market with some great produce. We restocked heavily with peaches, rockmelon and apples as well as a few veggies, all fabulous quality but considerably more expensive than Spain.

The mountain views just keep coming.

I can’t imagine how they built up there 500 years ago.

We had hoped to stay on the lake in Aix-les-Baines but every campground in the town was booked out. So we ended up in a great camp site at the top end of the lake which turned out brilliantly for our exploring. The lake is ringed with mountains and goes on forever.
Tomorrow we explore the lake.
