Aix-en-Provence is a wonderful town. It has a great vibe as you wander the streets. Eating and drinking is incredibly important with the quality first class and the opportunities endless. It is a shopping Mecca with exclusive brands represented as with most of the big ones. It’s a great place to be and we could easily spend several weeks here immersed in the place. I just didn’t find it very photogenic so not a lot of photos to show for the two days we were here.

On of the big squares had these huge trees with tables and umbrellas scattered among them. It made for a fabulous place for lunch.

Saturday is market day and they were out in force as were the street performers. This is definitely a place to come back to.

Tomorrow we head north east to Aix-les-Baines and Lake du Bourget.
