Spain & Portugal – Andorra Day 2

Today was a personal maintenance and bit of shopping day so not a lot of photos. Andorra is supposed to be a tax free shopping Mecca with only 4.5% tax on goods. However we found not much difference in real prices. It was fun to look around though.

Andorra puts a lot of effort into making a pretty city. It is a great place to visit.

Notice the green lights on the sidewalk. Red when you shouldn’t cross. Great system.

Lots of funky artwork.

The Excalibur Bar.

Andorra la Vella is built on natural hot springs, the original reason for the town’s development. The Caldes Project is a sculpture using coloured pipes, flowing thermal water, and lighting to trace the journey of the natural springs.

Tomorrow we explore the mountains of Andorra on the way to France.
